And as promised, we have brought in many new pieces…This is our new color we just starting using, Ivory Silk
Gray & cream is one of my favorite color combos. I love the way it looks on this vintage drop leaf table
Amazing what some creamy white paint can do to a 1970′s dresser isn’t it? New pillows and runners are in too for spring
Another gray & white piece. I added gray burlap rosettes trimmed in lace to this unique lamp shade. I think it’s a great look
Espresso and cream make a fabulous combo for this coffee table. I didn’t really plan it that way, it was just a happy accident .
This coffee table may already be featured. I love how it looks with our new ruffled linen runner and fun curtains so I wanted to show it off again.
I know this is a little different than the rest of the furniture pictured. It is new in the store too, and I think this is such a great shade of green for spring. Love the way it looks with gray too!

Many of you have asked when Lynn would have her Easter/Spring things in the store
Here they are! Beautifully full wreaths…
Love these florals with bunnies. These even have electric candle lights, such nice ambiance lighting
Cute petite arrangement in pretty, soft spring colors
Fun, fuzzy eggs to add a touch of Easter charm just about anywhere
That’s just a sneek peak folks, come on in and check out all of the goodies before they are gone! They came in yesterday, and I think 6 already left….

When I was a kid in the 70′s my Aunt Charlotte had a black & red bathroom. I had never seen anything like it, and I thought it was the coolest bathroom ever! To this day, I still love that color combo.
Now, I love the addition of gray with the black & red
Just for fun, this is a picture of the gray console, TV stand, whatever with just a coat of gray paint. I wish I would have taken a picture before we painted it at all…then, you could fully appreciate the transformation from it’s original state as a 1980′s oak piece.
Enjoy your weekend everyone!

And the stuff just keeps rolling in…We have been really taking advantage of the slower days by really getting those creative juices flowing..
I just love how this vintage ironing board with vintage door knobs turned out! What a fun piece for your entry way, mudroom, laundry room, etc…
This one would look fabulous in any of those spaces too.
We used our scalloped ceramic black & white knobs on this one for a different look
These magnetic clocks are brand new, but they still have that great, distressed finish. I am happy to ship these to you!
I know we had some pretty slim pickin’s on our end tables there for awhile, but we just got several in this week. Check out the awesome detailing on this black beauty.
Black paint and a little distressing gives this traditional butler’s table a very chic update I think
I am loving the look gray paint gives our vintage pieces, I think it’s a nice change. What do you think?

We have been offering all types of classes at Chic Antiques for the past year. Our “Learn to Make Cannolis” has been a big hit, and I am proud to say, I brought my camera to this class!
Our very own, very talented Renee uses her Nonna’s recipe she brought with her from Italy. That’s Nonna, not Renee.
That’s Renee answering questions to a lot of eager cannoli maker wannabe’s
Renee showed us an alternative way to serve cannolis too. That’s the cannoli filling sprinkled with shaved chocolate on the left, and the shells made into strips. Now it’s a fabulous chips & dip dessert
Another recipe we were all pleased to discover that Nonna was well loved for, was her wonderful biscotti. We were delighted that Renee also whipped up a couple of batches and brought them with her for us to sample
Our Colleen brought her daughter Anna, for a fun Mother/Daughter afternoon out. Here they are wearing their Chic Antiques aprons, ready to learn
I would say a great time was had by all, thank you to everyone who made it out this afternoon! As in true Italian style, everyone got to drink wine, take home two cannolis, and a few wonderful recipes; it doesn’t get any better than that!

I have vowed to actually do all of the projects I have been wanting to do…I found a box of these great molding pieces in a box in the basement. They are from an old home in Kentucky. I bought this a few years ago when I went on the Longest Garage Sale…I think these are very fun!
I got this whatever it is at a flea market last summer. Love it with these mason jars! It is now a very useful organizational piece…use in your office, kitchen, etc…
A piece of molding from a home in Detroit paired with some of our red & white ceramic knobs make this an awesome coat rack for your mudroom. Very handy towel or robe holder in your bathroom too
I love how this old door turned out!
And one more very cool, vintage door that is now a very useful piece.
I already owned all of these great treasures. I bought them because I thought they were so cool, but never got around to doing anything with them. With a little thought, I think they all look awesome!
Please be sure to stop by soon to see what else I have buried in the basement or out in the garage…
