Do It Yourself Lamp Makeover! Stop into Chic Antiques to see all of our before and afters!
Step one: First we cleaned the lamp with vinegar & water. Then we lightly sanded to get rid of some surface rust & rough up the surface.

Step two: Tape off fixtures & cord and apply 2-3 light coats of red spray paint.
Step Three: We used paper towel dipped in a little bit of black paint and dabbed color lightly onto lamp. Then we went back and added more black paint and in some areas.
Step Four: Next we dabbed & wiped on a little bit of gold paint to highlight & bring interest to a few areas.
